SSC CGLE 2017 Revises The Vacancy List For Various Departments| Check The Updated List Here

SSC CGLE 2017 has revised the vacancy list for various posts after the declaration of SSC CGLE 2017 result which was declared on October 30, 2017. A notification was released online on the official website updating the vacancy list for various posts under various departments to be recruited by SSC. So, it comes as a good news to all the candidates who have cleared the SSC CGLE 2017 Tier- I exam and are now preparing for the Tier- II exam. The Tier- II exam which was earlier postponed is now scheduled to happen from January 18, 2018, to January 21, 2018. SSC CGLE Vacancy Update| Vacant Posts doubled to 8089

The number of vacant posts in the previous vacancy list of SSC CGLE 2017 was 4733 as listed under various departments which have now almost been doubled. As per the new vacancy list updated by the SSC the number of vacant posts has been increased to 8089. Candidates who are preparing for Tier – II can check the updated vacancy list here online.

Earlier, there were a few departments which had not listed the number of vacant posts but now they have updated the number of vacant seats in their departments online, shooting up the number of vacant posts to almost double. The ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination’ is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission online every year to fill up the vacant posts for various Government Departments.

The SSC CGLE 2017 examination which was held in the month of August this year have revised the category-wise list for vacant posts. The vacant seats which were earlier 4733 have now been increased to 8089 seats.  The candidates who have cracked the Tier- I can now prepare for the TIER-II of the exam which will be held in January next year.

As per the current Vacancy list of SSC CGLE for various departments, there are a number of 4167 seats for general category candidates in all. Similarly, the number of seats to be filled by OBC candidates is 2068, by SC candidates is 1212 and that of ST candidates amount to 642 seats in all.

Yet now, there are a few departments which have not released any vacancy list, the number of vacant posts is therefore expected to rise further. Three departments of Auditor & Junior Accountants have not released their vacancy lists yet. The departments which have updated their vacancies include Auditor (C & AG), Accountant & Junior Accountant under Ministry of Post, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Tax Assistants & Central Bureau of Narcotics.
