Chandigarh serves as a capital city to two states which are Punjab and Haryana. City beautiful is not a part of any of these states and is a union territory in itself. Central Government has a control over union territory, Chandigarh.

City beautiful is the first planned city. It comes in top 10 planned cities of India. Chandigarh lies within an area of 114 sq. km.

No Sector 13
