Railway Recruitment Board has extended the last date to apply for Group D and ALP posts 2018. The last date to apply for both the vacancies is March 30, 2018. All those candidates who are seeking an employment in the railway department can apply for the same by visiting the official website of RRB.

Application Details
Last date to apply – The application process for the RRB recruitment 2018 began on 3rd February 2018 and the last date to apply for the same is 30th March 2018. The application fee has to be submitted by the candidates by 30 March through online mode and if the payment is made through post office then the last date to submit the application fee is 27 March. The examinations will be held in the month of April & May 2018.
Application Fee – The application fee for RRB Group D and ALP 2018 is Rs. 500 for General and OBC candidates and it is Rs. 250 For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PH category. The application fee for all the female candidates is also Rs. 250. There is Rs. 100 charge for form correction for the candidates of all categories. The application fee can be paid via challan, debit card, credit card or through net banking.

Vacancies for Group D – There are a total of 62907 vacancies for Group D. The vacancies are for various posts of Assistant Pointsman, Helper, Track Maintainer, Portar, Gateman & Hospital Attendant.
Vacancies for RRB Alp 2018 – There are a total of 26,502 vacancies for the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician), out of which 17673 posts are for Assistant Loco Pilot and 8829 posts for Technicians. The category wise distribution of the various vacancies is as follows :

Technician – 4563 posts

RRB Group D & RRB ALP Recruitment 2018 – Age Limit
For Group D – In case of RRB Group D posts, the age limit for general category candidates is minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years. The minimum age limit is same for all the categories, however, there is an upper age relaxation of 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
For Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician- For the candidates applying for RRB ALP the minimum age limit is 18 years for all the categories. The maximum age limit for the candidates belonging to the general category is 30 years, for OBC category candidates it is 33 years while 35 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
