Though the launch event for OnePlus 6 has not been officially scheduled yet, but it was earlier announced by the company’s CEO Pete Lau that the new flagship of OnePlus would be announced in Q2. This means that the launch date for One Plus 6 would not be later than June 30, 2018. While the launch of the smartphone might be a few weeks away, the specifications, design, images, and features have been leaked over the net a number of times.
So, take a look at everything we currently know about the phone.
OnePlus 6 Design
Talking about the design of OnePlus 6, we have a fine idea about it. Thanks to the leaked screenshots. The handset is believed to carry a taller 19:9 display as compared to the previous smartphone OnePlus 5T which was 18:9. OnePlus 6 is also expected to carry an iPhone X like the notch house front-facing camera and sensors.
The images also show the display notch, a vertical dual rear camera, fingerprint sensor and a glass design on the back.
OnePlus 6 Specifications
Coming to the specifications of OnePlus 6, it will apparently be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone comes with a 6GB/ 8GB RAM, and 64GB/ 256GB inbuilt memory. The handset runs on the latest version of OxygenOS on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone is expected to get a battery upgrade from the current 3300mAh capacity. The rumors have it that there is a presence of a dual rear camera module, but there are no details for the same until now.
OnePlus 6 Features
There is not much information about the features that the OnePlus 6 will carry. Although Face Unlock feature is definitely one such feature in the upcoming flagship that we can look forward to with possible upgrades. Dash Charge which is one of the USPs of the brand will also be a part of the latest flagship. However, it is still not clear if these features will be upgraded or not.
OnePlus 6 Price
The recent leak suggested the price of OnePlus 6 top-end 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant to be CAD 749 (around Rs. 38,000). The amount, when converted to USD, turns out to be $575, slightly higher than the $559 (Rs. 37,999 in India) the price for the 8GB/128GB variant of OnePlus 5T. However, the price of the handset is yet not known in India.
