A report published in Khaleej Times, a local daily of United Arab Emirates stated that Sridevi was lying unconscious in the washroom of her room in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel when her husband, Boney Kapoor found her.
The actress was getting ready for a dinner with her hubby when she suffered a cardiac arrest. Her husband reportedly woke her up around 5:30 pm. The couple chatted for around 15 minutes after which she went to the washroom to get ready for the dinner.
When the 54-year-old didn’t turn up for some time, her husband knocked the door. Getting no response from her, Boney Kapoor forced open the door where he found her lying motionless in a bathtub full of water.
Kapoor tried to revive her failing which he called a friend of his but she could not be revived. Police was informed about the incident at 9 pm.
Kapoor Family was In Dubai To Attend a Family Function!
Sridevi along with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor was in Dubai to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah. Her elder daughter Jhanvi gave this function a miss owing to her busy shooting schedule for her debut movie ‘Dhadak’.
According to a report, Boney Kapoor earlier left Dubai for Mumbai after the wedding but returned back to Dubai on Saturday evening to surprise her wife.
Sridevi’s sudden death came as a shock to the family as she was not having any heart problem.

Her body will be flown to Mumbai today to perform her last rites.
