CBSE will officially announce the results of JEE Main 2018 today. Over 14 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main Exam this year. The students will be allocated with ranks and it is said that around 2.24 lakh students out of total will be considered qualified for JEE Advanced this year.
JEE Main Paper 1 2018: Result Score Cards
The students will be able to access their scorecards as the result for JEE main 2018 is declared. The scorecards will consist of 4 things namely, JEE Main 2018 score, Category Rank, All India Rank and qualifying status for JEE Advanced 2018.
Based on the score cards total 2.24 lakh students will be considered qualified for JEE Advanced 2018. The JEE Main Exam is an entrance exam for students seeking admissions in Bachelors Programme in engineering while JEE Advanced is for students seeking admissions to IIT, NIT and other prestigious institutes in India.
Check JEE Main 2018 Result
Follow these steps to check your result for JEE Mains 2018:
- Open the official website of JEE Mains- jeemain.nic.in. Look at the right hand side of the web page, there you will be able to see a link named Result of JEE Main 2018. Click on the link and you will be taken to another web page.
- Here enter all your details such as your date of birth and your JEE Main 2018 roll number. Check the details once and click on the submit button.
- The results will be displayed on your screens as soon as you click on the ‘Submit’ button. Download your scorecard and take a print out for future reference.
In case you are unable to access the official website due to heavy traffic, you may also check your JEE Main 2018 results through cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in. The results for JEE main 2018 will be displayed on all the three websites.
