Every one of you must have read “Early to Bed Early to rise, Make a Man Healthy, Wealthy and Wise”. But sleeping on time and a stressless sleep is a very difficult thing nowadays. Everyone has a very tight schedule and lots of stress and tension. It affects our sleep which is very harmful to human body. More than 50% people used to say “Yaar, I am Insomniac”. Many of daily activities affect sleep and health.  Either you don’t take your meals on time or consumes more junk food. Both of these things will affect your sleep. Amount of junk like fat, cholesterol in our body keeps on increasing with the increased consumption of junk food.

According to some of the studies done, it is made clear that chances of death of a person will increase if he/she will not sleep for at least seven to eight hours a day. Sleep deprived people are taking help of sleeping pills. These sleeping pills can harm your heart, can increase chances of cancer, and even cause early death of a person who consumes them daily. They can also make you feel lazy even after a proper sleep. You can also suffer from amnesia. To avoid all these side effects and to avoid sleeping pills, we brought some natural and healthy alternatives to sleeping pills. To get rid of this problem, you can eat boiled eggs before you sleep. This is because boiled egg contains proteins and it will maintain sugar level of your body.

Amount of fiber in your diet is very important for a better health and sound sleep. Broccoli is rich in fiber and it will help you to be fresh and awake throughout your day. You can include beans, berries along with broccoli in your diet.

If you want to see the magic, just drink a cup of tea before going to sleep. This is also a natural alternative to sleeping pills but you can get addicted because of the presence of caffeine.

Cherries contain a compound known by the name of melatonin. Juice of cherry is both healthy and tasty. You can take a glass of cherry juice for better sleep and better health.

Sleeping pills can help you for a shorter span of time but these natural alternatives will help you in getting rid of the problem of being an insomniac. These natural things are far better than the sleeping pills. It might be possible that some of them will not work efficiently but they will not even harm you in any way.
