Kids’ eating habits are neglecting nowadays. Children succumb to different illnesses, obesity, malnutrition and a variety of ailments due to the regular consumption of junk food. Our elders believe that food is the best medicine for the people of all age groups. Especially, in the childhood, because at this age, the different organs and tissues grow to maturity and stop fully functioning. Therefore, children eating habits is something to be taken care of. The right kind of food and proper diet are very important to the children health.

Oatmeal is my favorite meal. It is one of the healthiest meal you can give to your children. Since oatmeal is rich in fiber, it will digest slowly and release the energy gradually over a long time ensuring a stream flow of energy on a long day.



Who doesn’t love fruit? I think all of us. Fruit contains vitamins and minerals. Fruits are rich in fiber which is very helpful to the growth of children. Increase their habit of consuming fruit as a salad rather than a juice.



Healthy fats are helpful for children’s growth and development. Hence, nuts are rich in fats. Make a habit of a child to consume nuts like almond, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts. Nuts contain nutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, protein, and fiber, which help in the growth, development and the learning power of children.



Milk is a  good source of nutrients and vitamins, including protein, vitamins A, D, and B12, calcium, potassium,  riboflavin, niacin, zinc, phosphorus, and magnesium. These nutrients are very useful in maintaining strong and healthy bones.



Consumption of Blueberry helps in the proper functioning of the heart and also keeps the level of cholesterol in control. They are rich in antioxidants. Blueberry contains nutrients like vitamin C, Vitamin K, Magnese, and also rich in fiber. Its consumption is very useful in preventing heart disease and cancer.



Consuming tomato gives amazing health benefits. It contains nutrients and antioxidants that boost the ability of skin to fight UV rays and also purify the blood. Its regular consumption can dissolve gallstone. Its consumption gives various other benefits like Improves eyesight, Prevents skin problemsReduces cholesterol and protects the heart. Tomatoes have Vitamin A, C, E, and contains iron and calcium which are beneficial for women’s health.


Low yogurt

Yogurt is rich in calcium and protein which help in protecting young bones. It contains probiotic which help in regulating the digestive system, preventing diarrhea and constipation.
