City Beautiful’s Birthday Bash
Chandigarh is celebrating the 51st Anniversary of its foundation as Chandigarh Establishment Day. It is going to be the biggest celebration ever for sure. The celebration will go on for 5 days starting from November 1. The event will showcase the city since its inception with a unique picture gallery. The award ceremony will also be held to felicitate the people who have brought fame and glory to the city. Apart from food, exhibitions, awards and fashion shows, there would also be live performances by the legendary Gurdas Mann JI, Gippy Grewal, and Nooran Sisters. So, get on your heels guys and enjoy the happening Birthday Bash of our City Beautiful.
What is it all about?
It is our city’s first Birthday Bash and you can experience the love for Chandigarh overflowing everywhere. There would be a melange of activities, performances and star nights. Just be there to experience the best of Music, Fun-filled activities, Exhibitions, Fashion Shows, Food to die for and what not.
The event is being celebrated to make Chandigar’s youth aware of the city’s rich history of success and development.
Five days festive Celebration
The pre-events of the celebration includes rallies of vintage and luxury cars and a marathon for women. Be ready to groove to your favorite tunes on this 5-day birthday celebrations. What’s interesting is our favorite city turning 51 and a line up of various activities and performances by various renowned artists. Below are the details of all the events to be held.

The Chandigarh Anthem
A Song titled “Chandigarh Meri Jaan” has been specially curated to mark the event. The song has received enormous love from the people of Chandigarh who could not miss shaking their legs on the peppy beats of the vibrant song. The song was launched on September 16 in the presence of Mayor Smt. Asha Kumari and is already a great hit. Thanks to all the Chandigarians. Youngsters are crazy about the event, it would be amazing to see how the whole event goes as this is a moment of pride for the city beautiful residents.
