Yeah, you read it, right folks, the Chandigarh Airport will now be connecting its air travel to the capital city of Thailand i.e, Bangkok. The announcement of this amazing news was made last month itself and the booking were also made open for the same. Chandigarh- Bangkok Flight: Detailed Schedule
As of now, The Chandigarh-Bangkok flight is scheduled to operate three days a week i.e, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Chandigarh International airport. The flights back from Bangkok will also follow the same schedule and no flights will operate to and fro on rest of the days. The flight timings from Chandigarh International Airport on Mondays ill be 2:00 PM while on Wednesdays and Fridays the flight will leave at 1:25 PM from Chandigarh Airport. The flight will cost you around Rs,14000.
The total duration of the flight from Chandigarh to Bangkok is of four hours and forty-five minutes for one way journey without any stops in between. The return flight from Bangkok to Chandigarh will leave at 5:40 AM (Thailand Time) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will reach Chandigarh Airport at 9:20 AM. The premier flight received great response from the public and a large number of seats have already been booked in advance. According to CHIAL officials the flights from Chandigarh to Bangkok may increase if there is growing demand.
Intense Fog might alter the Winter Schedule
The CHIAL authorities announced the cancelling of two flights due to intense fog and poor weather conditions. The two suspended flights were operational to Delhi and Kullu (Bhunter Airport) respectively.
Both the Delhi and Kullu flights were operating six days a week and were the only flights on the route. Other flights might also suffer due to bad weather and the final decision will be out only by December 2. Wishing the Chandigarh-Bangkok flight to remain unaffected.
