Good News for everyone. The deadline for linking your Aadhar Card to your bank account, mobile services and various other services is now extended to 31st March 2018. The Supreme Court has increased the deadline and declared it on Friday morning. People who don’t have Aadhar card and are willing to open a new bank account now have time until 31st of March to submit their Aadhar card number to the bank. Before this, people can get their new bank account open by submitting their Aadhar application number.
Linking of Aadhar card with various other services
PM Modi has given the orders to link your Aadhar card to your PAN card and other various services as soon as possible. This linking is mandatory for each and everyone. But some people are facing problems as they don’t have Aadhar card with them. Keeping in mind all these problems, petitioners filed a case in Supreme Court.
Chief Justice Dipak Misra passes the order while thinking about all the petitions and announced a relaxation in linking Aadhar card to the mobile number, bank account, PAN card and many other services. He told about the deadline which is now extended to 31st March 2018.
There was a bench of five judges (Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justices DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan, AK Sikri and AM Khanwilkar) who were responsible for all the hearings and things related to this case. Petitioners are continuously requesting for an early hearing on the issue related to linking of Aadhar card. Finally, a bench of five judges have taken the decisions on the case and extended the deadline to 31st March 2018. This step of linking Aadhar card to all the services is taken to know the leakages in various department of Nation. It is also to control any kind of corruption done in various schemes for the welfare of society and for National security.
People are careless and some of the people are taking this step lightly. You are advised to link your Aadhar card to your PAN card and various other services you are using. People without Aadhar card are requested to fill an application form.
