M.S Dhoni- The untold story was one of the most awaited films of the year. Nothing can compete the excitement that people had to know the story of our captain cool. Well, Dhoni charged a whopping 60 crores from the makers of the film to render his story.
#3 Paan Singh Tomar
Paan Singh Tomer is the valiant tale of the turned bandit which was brought forward by Timanghshu Dhulia. The movie worked fine at the box office and raked in some good amount of money. However, Paan Singh Tomer was paid only 15 lakhs to render his story.
#4 Sachin- A Billion Dreams

The movie fetched 17 crores at the box office in just 2 days. Although there was nothing official but sources say that Sachin was paid Rs. 40 crores for his biopic documentary.

Azhar is a movie that showcased the life of one of the most controversial Indian cricket captain. Though the movie did not work wonders on screen, yet it was exciting to see the life history of the cricketer. Azharuddin did not charge a single penny to share his story.
#6 Dangal
Dangal movie is a biopic of the wrestlers Mahavir Phogat. The film was a hit and broke many records in Bollywood and even crossed 2000 crores mark worldwide. But despite the huge earnings, the wrestler turned coach was paid only Rs. 80 lakhs for sharing his story.
#7 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a biopic based on the story of famous field sprinter Milkha Singh. Surprisingly, Milkha Singh charged only Re. 1 for the movie as his only aim was to inspire the youngsters and money was never his priority. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra paid him with a rare one Rupee note which was printed in 1958, the same year in which Milkha won the first gold medal in common wealth.
