Nowhere it is written that life would be fair, not even on your birth certificate. Success and failure are two sides of the same coin. Mistakes are part of life, but only some people learn from it. We only live once, and if we do it in a right way then one lifetime is enough to achieve all the dreams and desire.

When life seems tough and we do not know what to do? All we need is someone to clear our doubts and help us to grow as a person. Sometimes, an inspiring story, one line sentence, or a quote, is enough to do a miracle.

Let’s read out the life lessons taught by Chanakya.

“A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first.”

“God is not present in idols. Your feelings are your god. The soul is your temple.”

“Don’t be ashamed of where you come from. Don’t fret for what is past, nor be anxious about the future; wise men deal only with the present moment.”

“Learn from the mistakes of others, you can’t live long enough to make them all yourself!”

“The biggest guru-mantra is to never share your secrets with anybody. It will destroy you.”

“Test a servant while, in the discharge of his duty, a relative in difficulty, a friend in adversity, and a wife in misfortune.”

“Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions – Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.”

“As soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it.”

“Once you start working on something, don’t be afraid of failure and don’t abandon it. People who work sincerely are the happiest.”

“A man is born and dies alone. He experiences the good and bad consequences of his karma alone.”
